Chronograph - three sub-dials displaying: 60 second, 30 minute and 12 hour. Black dial with luminous rose gold-tone hands and index hour markers. Uni-directional rotating black ceramic bezel. Zenith El Primero Stratos Flyback Chronograph Men's Watch 85206040523C714, 18kt rose gold and black alchron case with a black alligator leather strap. The El Primero now comes in 23 different versions, with complications ranging from the simple small seconds to the elaborate "gravity control." In 2003, Zenith began showcasing this impressive movement with the help of a skeleton cut-out on the dial, making the watch both visually appealing as it is accurate. Launched in 1969, the El Primero continues to be the most precise series-made caliber, able to measure 1/10th of a second accurately, beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour with an impressive power reserve of 50 hours. Perhaps the most famous of the Zenith movements is the El Primero, the first integrated automatic chronograph movement produced. Zenith continues to be one of the only surviving Swiss watch companies to produce its own movements in-house. Founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le Locle, Switzerland, Zenith was the first company to unite every step of watch production in a single building, a concept known as "the manufacture". Named for the word "zenith", which means the highest point reached by a celestial body in the sky, the Zenith company has accumulated 1,565 awards for precision in watch-making.
